OWA reinvents the southern destination by combining various forms of entertainment into a condensed, yet expansive, resort. No longer will guests have to drive an hour or more to experience a different adventure. By vacationing at OWA, a family never has to leave to property to feel the thrill of excitement and relaxation … and if the beach is on the itinerary, it is easily accessible and a straight shot down the Foley Beach Expressway.
Phase one of the reinvented southern destination includes a 14-acre lake, a
150-room Marriott TownePlace Suites hotel (adjacent to the City of Foley’s Indoor Event Center), 154,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment space and a 14-acre theme park with 21 rides, including one major roller coaster. Phase one construction began in summer 2016 and will be completed and open by summer 2017. Future plans include an indoor/outdoor water park with attached hotel and a resort level RV park.
