New York Wheel is a 630-foot-tall (roughly 60-story) observation wheel being built overlooking the New York Harbor, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry terminal in St. George. The 38-minute Wheel ride will accommodate up to 40 guests in each of the 36 pods (more than 3.5 million people per year).
The Wheel site will include a five-acre green space for large events, al fresco dining, and a state of the art children’s playground. Surrounding the Wheel will be Empire Outlets, NYC's first and only premium outlet shopping mall, and Lighthouse Point, unique waterfront restaurant and shops built into historic buildings.
