Company Overview
The Enchanted Forest Theme park is located in the beautiful Oregon Forest, 1 hour from the beach, 1 hour from the mountains and 45 minutes from Portland Oregon. Located close to Salem Oregon, population 150,000, the park includes 10 rides including roller coaster, log flume ride, indoor target shooting ride, Haunted House, carousel, bumper cars and kiddy rides. The park also includes English Village, Western Town, Storybook Lane, Fantasy Fountains Water Light show, Haunted House,Theatre, and more. The park employs 200 people during the season and 15 full-time employees year round.
The Enchanted Forest is hiring for a key member of our full-time ride maintenance team. As part of a small team, there is constant variety in your work day. We are only open to the public for part of the year, so all seasons of the year are quit different. We have the hectic, busy summer and low key winter, the prep before we open for another season, and closing up of the park in the fall.
Company History
Enchanted Forest was the dream and creation of Roger Tofte. He started building his dream one sack of cement at a time in 1964 after purchasing 20 acres for $50 and acre. Enchanted Forest opened to visitors in 1971 and is still family owned and operated. Roger can still be seen out at Enchanted Forest daily, patching cement or painting a mural.
Our family is passionate about creating an experience guests will treasure forever. Our park is small and intimate and allows us to bring a very personal experience to our visitors.
