The Account Manager (Event Operations) at DCi acts as the principle representative and lead liaison for sold meetings and events operating face-to-face, virtually, and in a hybrid format. The Account Manager responsibilities include the coordination, planning and management of meetings/events following the client commitment through onsite operation. 

You will be the primary resource all event operations and expected to coordinate and manage meetings/events by implementing a strategy and plan for each program. Additionally, Account Managers, develop and manage executive level relationships with clients, accounts, venues, and vendors.

Key elements of Account Manager understanding and knowledge:

  • Complete understanding of Corporate Event Management to include contracting, pricing, profitability, event design, vendor relations and hotel/venue coordination
  • Transportation Management: Individual and group arrivals and departures. Ability to manage and develop flight manifests and group shuttle logistics
  • Event Décor and floorplans: must have an understanding of the décor elements which create an event and strategic and efficient event floorplans and layout designs.
  • Activities: understanding and production of logistics and coordination for on-property and off-property Activity bookings
  • Dine Around: understanding and production of logistics and coordination for multi-restaurant reservations
  • Audio/Visual skillsets that include basic knowledge of lighting, stage design, back of house experience and other event production experience
  • Experience and ability to travel and operate events in other destinations   

  *DMC (Destination Management), Meeting Management or Event Production/Logistics experience is highly preferred 


  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as Business, Marketing, Advertising or related area
  • 3+ years’ related experience in program operation, sales, marketing, partnership negotiating and contracting
  • DMC experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in developing strategies for effective program operations
  • Creativity and strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interface effectively with personnel critical to ensure the implementation of cost effective programs that meet the accounts specifications
  • Analytical ability required to monitor profitability and cost effectiveness during program operation
  • Determine best course of action and best practices to produce and up sell programs that generate profitability and drive account satisfaction
  • Provide appropriate and effective guidance for team members
  • Flexibility and ability to travel approximately 50% of time
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with various levels of employees, vendors and clients
